Our home base is Jacksonville, Florida, USA.
From Atlanta to Miami and all points in between, the number one variety band has always been “KTG.” Whether your craving authentic big band or swing; disco or rock-n-roll; the distinct horn riffs and vocal sounds of Earth Wind and Fire; or the current sounds of Usher, Beyonce or Black Eyed Peas; KTG is comfortable in any genre.
The leader, Kenny Levine, a graduate of Jacksonville University with a composition degree, is a multi-talented keyboardist, conductor, arranger, and composer who assures that the sound of KTG is unlike any other band. With anywhere from 100 to 125 bookings annually, Kenny credits the success of the band on his talented musicians and their professional approach to music. From the soaring vocals and dynamic stage presence of Teri Harris Levine, to Roderick “Mac” McMorries, incredible singer and trumpet player who has been on the road with such performers as Cameo and Michael Jackson. The sizzling sax sound of Steve Barranco, a Berklee College of Music graduate, is unmatched. Trumpet player Marvin Ferebee is the first call lead trumpet player when any major artist or broadway show comes to town. He has performed with Barry Manilow, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and David Sanborn. Should you want the ultra-cool swing of Sinatra, we bring you our own blue eyes, Gary Smith, who also plays the bass and trumpet. Finally, with over thirty years experience in the business, Phil Robinson keeps the groove together on drums.
Based out of the Jacksonville area, KTG been making people dance and smile for nearly 20 years. With such clients as Bill Murray, Tom Coughlin, and Brian Sexton, as well as numerous corporations, hotels, and country clubs throughout Florida and Georgia, KTG delivers a class act, leaving you with a taste of excellence and a more than memorable experience.
